Ranking order
1. Royal Flush - highest poker hand, Ace to ten and all of the five cards are from the same suit. A Royal Flush always wins poker.
2. Straight Flush - five cards of the same suit in nonstop numerical sequence.
3. Four of a Kind - four cards of the same numbers.
4. Full House - three cards of the same value, and one more pair with a different value. When Wild Cards are used, poker ties are ranked first by the
3-of-a-kind ranking, then the matching pair.
5. Flush - any five cards of same suit in any order.
6. Straight - five cards in a order of any suit. Aces are counted as high or low.
7. Three of a Kind - 3 cards of the same numerical value. Three-of-a-Kind is the same as a Four-of-a-kind hand, except that when the left over two cards are a pair, it turns it into a Full House.
8. Two Pair - any two pairs of two cards, and within each pair, the cards are of the same number value. For example, a 2 of Hearts and a 2 of Spades (one pair) and the second pair is 8 of Clubs and a 8 of Hearts.
9. Pair - any hand holding two cards of the same numerical value.
10. High Card - in the case of no better poker hands, the poker player with the highest number card wins.
Basic Rules
1) At the start of the Poker game in an online casino, the online poker players ante up. Poker players look at their cards, and decide their Internet poker strategies and bets.
2) Every online poker player can either 'Call', 'Raise' or 'Fold'.
3) To fold is drop out of the round of poker and not play poker.
4) To call means the online poker player matches the bet by placing the same cash bet in the poker pot.
5) The online poker players place their bets in the poker pot.
6) The online poker dealer distributes five cards one at a time to each poker player.
7) To raise means matching the bet and adding an extra bet to the online poker pot.
8) In poker, 'Pot' means to raise the bet to the maximum (the poker bet is the same amount as the total money available in the pot).
9) Players can swap up to a maximum of three cards from their hand. Players with an Ace swap up to four cards, on the condition that the online poker player shows the Ace to the other poker players in the online casino.
10) Another round of betting begins. When there are no more raises, and all the cards have been dealt, the online poker round ends. 11) The online poker players open their closed cards. The best poker hand wins the poker pot.
